M.A.C Studio Fix Powder Foundation BOMB!
After reading the raves for years on this product I finally caved and ordered some. The color match is very close. It is a very dense powder that can be used as foundation on its own. Ummm not so much. From prior reviews there were raves on how this wonder powder covered and concealed leaving an airbrush finish. I have gotten better coverage with a tinted moisturizer. Honestly it doesn't look like I have anything on my face. I wear foundation to cover darkness, conceal blemishes and even out skin tone. This makes the darker areas more prominent. Booo! This is the second product by M. A.C. that I am truly not impressed with. Those of you with M.A.C obsessions what am I missing?

Finally a product that tames my unruly super kinky curly tufts of hair. This product is less than $5 and is such a bestie. It is basically a pomeade, a clear formula that is a bit tacky, it is used to increase shine and create a firm hold. I have been applying a small amount to my fingers and smoothing flyaways and the crazy hair that is right above my ears that has a mind of its own. It has lasting hold and a nice scent. I found it with the relaxers and other products for ethnic hair.

What can I say this color is sparkle sparkle sparkle. Big and small chunks of glitter. Easy to apply, dries fast and the best it is hard to see chips. Fun look for holiday parties.

WEN Cleansing Conditioner BOMB!
I have to admit I am a sucker for an infomercial. The first time I tried WEN was about a year ago when I ordered it from an infomercial. WEN promises results for all types of hair, straight, curly, ethnic, etc. Well my hair has a mind of its own. It wants to be ethnic. Wavy in some parts flyaway crazy at the crown looking like wires sticking out of my head.
I saw women with frizzy flyaways and crazy curls be transformed. That did not happen for me. If anything it made my hair even more dry and out of control.
I even searched message boards, to see if maybe I was applying it wrong? Not leaving it in long enough? I even tried different formulas.
Sorry WEN, I really wanted to like you. I wanted you to tame my tresses. I really wanted the hair you advertised on your infomercial.

yes to carrots leave in conditioner BESTIE!
I have been in search of a leave in that smooths the fly-aways and springs that seem to appear on my semi curly mop. This leave in does it. Hair appears nice and smooth. Feels that way too. Nice big size 6 oz. Easy to use flip top. Con is the scent leaves something to be desired.

I have read good things about the Yes to line. I saw a bonus pack of the yes to cucumbers at Target and thought what the heck. The toweletts are a nice big size. Remove all of your makeup even mascara. Here is the bomb, they burn your face like crazy. To bad I really liked how they felt to the touch and the fact they removed all my makeup.
